- Lylye requests that the captain of Dover be commanded to write to the mayor of Sandwich to deliver a coffer and harness to the petitioner. He was on a ship of Brestwyk arrested at Sandwich and while he was in London his companions deposited the coffer and harness with Fayrhod for safe-keeping, but he will not deliver them as they were delivered to him by Lylye's companions and they have gone.

- The petition dates to 1403-1404 as other petitions originally from Chancery Files 528 date to these years. In addition, this petition is addressed to the Bishop of Lincoln as Chancellor and Henry Beaufort as Bishop of Lincoln was Chancellor until 1404 when he became Bishop of Winchester, though continuing to serve as Chancellor until March 1405.
