Nature of request
The merchants request that certain writs be sent to the ambassadors chosen in parliament to go to Prussia to treat concerning certain matters and disputes between the merchants and those of Prussia that they come at a certain day during the same parliament to take their charges concerning the same matters. They also request that certain writs be sent to the mayors and bailiffs of cities and boroughs throughout the realm to make proclamations that all those aggrieved by arrest of their goods in those parts come in person or through the hands of a person representing them from each city and borough with full power to perform what is assented concerning these matters.
