Clays Allardson of Middelburg states that his ship, the 'Mary Knight' laden with salt, has been arrested at Sandwich to provision the town of Calais, but that the Treasurer of England has now granted him permission to leave with his ship, as there is enough salt at Calais; and he requests a writ to the Mayor and bailiffs of Sandwich to allow him to take his ship and merchandise and leave.
