Note (Additional information about the record)
- A note on the guard states that this petition was taken from Chancery files of the time of Richard II. CPR 1381-5, p.193, dated 28 June 1382, and mentioning the negligence of the warden and ministers of the hospital, the diminished number of its chaplains, brothers and sisters, and the waste and alienation of its lands and goods, may well be a result of this complaint.
