Beatrice de Roos states that she has sued various writs in Norfolk, and that the sheriff has sometimes returned them late and sometimes not served them at all, and says that he does not dare to serve them for fear of death. She requests a writ to the sheriff to come before the council in haste to be examined on how and by whom he is prevented from executing the King's commands.
