Geoffrey Angleseye, monk of Cluny, states that he was ordained by his order to be Prior of East Holme Priory, but that it has been leased at farm to Thomas Tyntenhull, novice of the same order, by the King during the war, contrary to justice and the privileges of Holy Church, and that Thomas has made waste in the Priory's property. He asks that he might be put in possession by the King's letters patent, paying the same farm that Thomas pays during the war, and that the letters patent made to Thomas might be repealed.

Datable to 1386-1388 with reference to the Bishop of Ely as Chancellor. Thomas Arundel was Chancellor on three occasions, the first between 24 October 1386 and 4 May 1389. He was Bishop of Ely between 13 August 1373 (papal provision) and 3 April 1388, when he became Archbishop of York; he later became Archbishop of Canterbury.
