Nature of request
Particulars of the account of Ralph Gonyly, customs officer at Plymouth, between 3 March 20 Richard II (1397) and Michaelmas 21 Richard II (1397), detailing wax and 'basyne' forfeited from a ship called the 'James' of Sandwich, whose master is Peter Shipman, on 8 September because customs were not paid, and certain calf's hides forfeited on the same day from a ship of Plymouth because, although merchandise of the staple, they were not being taken to Calais.

[On face] Be it remembered that on 12 March in the King's twenty-second year, this bill was delivered to the King's council at the New Temple in London by the hands of Perynanton de Blay to be put into execution. [None on dorse]
