Nature of request
Nicholas de Wotenhull, who has been presented by the King, through his Lieutenant of Ireland, [to the church of Kilberry], states that Miles Rodipak presented one Thomas Bache, clerk, to that church, although he had no right to do so, and that he was received and instituted by the Bishop, by a biased inquisition, wrongly and in disinheritance of William Botiller, to whom that right belongs, who is under age and in the King's wardship. He has also received the ratification of the Chancellor, on false information, and is suing for a new presentation to this church, without the King being informed of his right. Nicholas requests a remedy, in salvation of the King's right and William's inheritance.
