- William, parson of the church of St Michael, Crooked Lane, states that the wardens of the church and John, chaplain of a chantry there, are impeached in Chancery concerning certain rents bequeathed to the chantry and appropriated, and also other sums bequeathed to the works on the church, without the King's permission, as is claimed. He asks the King to receive a reasonable fine for this, and to confirm the appropriation.
