Robert Chaundos is granted the office of the assay of measures in Ireland on 2 March 1349 (CPR 1348-50 p.265). Roger de Flete seems to have been appointed his deputy at least three times: CPR 1354-8 p.248 is dated 26 June 1355, p.427 is dated 28 July 1356, and CPR 1358-61 p.245 is dated 12 July 1359. Any one of these could be in response to this petition.CPR 1361-4 p.23 is dated 12 May 1361, and p.36 is dated 21 June 1361.
