- Simon Dolsoly was elected Sheriff in 1348 (List of Sheriffs), and Mayor in 1359. He was an alderman for Cornhill ward, and died in 1362, according to Alfred B. Beaven, The Aldermen of the City of London (London, 1908), vol. I, p.121.
