- The petition requests two commissions:1) To John Burbache and John Upham, and to each of them, to take on the necessary workmen and to arrange for the necessary transportation by land and water for the repairs to Porchester castle, for the King's money to be paid by Adam de Hertyngdon or his deputy.2) To Adam de Hertyngdon to pay the wages of the workmen and to pay for the transportation and other necessities, by view of the comptrollers, John de Rouceby and William de Warle, or of one of them.
