- Richard de Chaddesdon states that he has long sued to the King to have the wardship of the hospital of St Giles, which Geoffrey de Chaddesdon, Master of the hospital of Burton Lazars, has given to him. He asks that his estate in this hospital might be confirmed or that the hospital might be visited, as it is on the point of ruin for lack of visitation, and there is no chaplain to pray for the King and his ancestors there, although there used to be two or three.
