Nature of request
John Kerre, executor of William Kerre, states that he has a day before the Chancellor at the octave of the Nativity of Our Lady, to answer to Baldwin de Haryngton, but that he has been ill at Westminster for a month and more, and is still ill, so that he can do no work. He asks that the case may adjourned until the quindene of Michaelmas, so that he can sue his case properly, to the King's advantage. The Archdeacon of Westminster has put his seal to this on the fifth day after the Nativity of Our Lady, in testimony to its verity.
