Nature of request
The Prior and convent of Hexham state that they hold the manor of Anick in pure and perpetual alms, within the franchise of Hexham, which borders the vill of Corbridge which is within the county of Northumberland and the lordship of Lord Percy, and that disputes have arisen between them and the people of Corbridge about a piece of land called Threap Nook, which is part of the manor of Anick. They request a commission of perambulation to resolve this matter to William de Aldburgh, Henry de Barton, Roger de Fulthorp, Ellis de Thoresby, John de Mitford and John de Halydene, or to two or more of them.
