Note
C 47/2/41/19 places the petitioner (but not the others) in the castle of Lesneven in Brittany, but is undated. A note on the guard of that document dates it to 7 May 1346, with reference to Wrottesley, 'Crecy and Calais' (William Salt Society, vol. 18, p.84), but this reference is not precise. However, it probably dates from around that time, and clearly refers to operations in Brittany during the Hundred Years' War.
