Note
Dated to c. 1334 (after the siege of Berwick of 1333) by the similarity of the endorsement to that of SC 8/61/3020, and by the similarity of the content to that of SC 8/296/14795, SC 8/142/7064, SC 8/142/7073 and SC 8/142/7076. The hand, in particular, is very similar to that of SC 8/296/14795. The provisions concerning Berwick-upon-Tweed made at the beginning of March, 1334 (Rot. Scot., vol.
