- Ryvers requests remedy because by summons of the Exchequer the sheriff of Essex wrongly distrained him because he has the same name and surname as Rivers of Ongar who owes the King various debts from the time of Henry III, for marrying Lucy and for the castle of Ongar and various other debts contained in the Great Roll of the Exchequer for the 6th year of King Henry [1221-2].
