- The abbot of St Mary's York, whose predecessors have held in pure and perpetual alms since the abbey's foundation by Stephen, late duke of Brittany, requests that whereas he was summoned to Parliament because it was found in the roll of Parliament that his predecessors had been summoned since abbot Simon was first summoned in 1280, that he and his successors not be charged to come to Parliament by such summons since the acts of the predecessor should not be put on the successor.
