Nature of request
The abbess and convent of Godstow request remedy because at their foundation by the King's ancestors they were granted all tithes in the manor and park of Woodstock, including tithes of foals from the King's stud-farm, but the present keeper will not give them this tithe, and that they may have the arrears of this tithe.
Nature of endorsement
It seems to the council that if the tithes are due in this way, then the King's bailiff should be ordered to pay the tithe with arrears.
