Blok requests that payment be made to him for a ship called the Cristofre which was taken for Edward II in Sturmy's presence and valued at £248, so that the debt can be duly settled.

The treasurer, barons and chamberlains should be ordered by writ that, having called Sturmy before them, if they find it is as the petition supposes they should treat with the petitioner and make him some reward in discharge of the alms of the King's father.
