Nature of request
Puhs, on behalf of the people of Rions, requests payment for the provisioning of Bourg, granted them by the King, for which the King gave them a letter at Linlithgow commanding the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to pay them as contained in the roll, but they have not been paid. Ockham has received the roll for the Exchequer stating for how long the King had granted them the said provisions.1)
Nature of endorsement
Before the King.2) The King's intention is that the provisioning granted to the people of Rions be paid for as other provisioning is, and they should have a writ of Chancery ordering the treasurer and barons to pay them as they do others.
