Nature of request
Munceaus requests that he not be disinherited from having three fat deer, three deer of closure, 100 pigs and a boar quit of pannage in the Earl Warennes's woods of Surrey and Sussex. This was granted by a deed of the Earl Warenne's ancestors to his ancestors who were seised of the same until recently when the lands descended into the King's hand and were taken by the escheator without a writ.1)
Nature of endorsement
He should show what he has and they should enquire into his seisin.2) The treasurer and barons of the Exchequer should be ordered by writ of Chancery to view the charter by which the petitioner makes his request and claims to have the said inquisition of seisin, and if they find that he ought to have it, then he shall have it.
