Nature of request
Burdeaux requests that whereas the King's father gave him land in Windsor forest which he had bought from the bishop of Bath, the reversion of which pertains to the King, that the King give permission for the petitioner's tenants to have common pasture according to their tenancy because they cannot work their lands without beasts. He also requests pardon of £10 imposed on him by Mautravers for de-pasturing his beasts in the new park of Windsor, when he had the King's father's permission to do so.

Note
Dated on the guard to 1330, with reference to CPR 1327-30, p. 525, a pardon to the petitioner of £10 imposed on him by Mautravers for depasturing his cattle in the new park of Windsor, in accordance with this petition. This is also the date of the Chancery warrant with which this was probably enclosed (C 81/171 no.3559).
