The consuls of Penne request justice and remedy for the merchants of the duchy of Aquitaine in England who claim that they were unduly oppressed by Abingdon who took much of their wine at a much lower price than it was worth and caused it to be taken outside the realm of England, and oppressed them in other ways. Given at Penne on Ash Wednesday, 1317/8.
