Trenche requests that whereas the King, by his letter dated at Burstwick on 28 October in his 32nd year [1304], ordered the constable of Bordeaux to pay the petitioner his usual wages of £15 chipotensis a day and 100s of the same money yearly for his clothes, which the constable has not done since the city of Bordeaux came under the King's obedience, that the King order him to pay the arrears for this time.
