- John, Bishop of Llandaff requests: 1) that henceforth in times of voidance the chapter of the church of Llandaff [should have] the keeping of the bishopric as fully as the King and his heirs held it, [...] paying the tax of £93 9s 8d for the period;2) that the King will confirm under his seal that, after the Earl of Gloucester and Hertford surrendered the advowson and keeping of the bishopric of Llandaff in times of voidance to the King's father, the King regranted the same to the Earl and his wife, so that after their decease the keeping of the same would return to the King and his heirs.
