Nature of request
Dacre, who [has served in] the King's wars in the march of Carlisle and in Gascony, requests that the King order the barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer [to pay] him the arrears due to him for his wages.
Nature of endorsement
The treasurer and barons of the Exchequer are ordered to examine the bills mentioned in the petition. If they find that the debt is still due then they should make allowance or [assignment] as soon as possible.

Dated on the guard to? 1331, with reference to CCR 1330-3, p. 383, an order to see the books of the Wardrobe and bills in Dacre's possession and to pay Dacre what is due to him for wages and horses lost in the King's service in the march of Scotland and in Gascony, in accordance with a petition by Dacre, which may or may not be this particular petition.
