Nature of request
Le fiz Reynaud requests that whereas he sent his men to Carlisle to do his service which he owed the King, and the Prince found them there and took them with him to Lochmaben where they did his service, which the Prince has certified to the constable and marshal, that this service be allowed to him and entered in the roll of Bedewynd who did not arrive at Carlisle until 15 days after the Prince had left for Lochmaben.
Nature of endorsement
Despenser testified before the council that the petitioner did the service owed, and so the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer were ordered to make allowance to him of these services. And he should have a writ of Chancery concerning his scutage.
