Daventre requests that the King order his keepers of the great seal to do what was agreed by his petition presented at the last parliament concerning his church of Wold Newton which is of the patronage of the bishop of Durham, to view the certification which the bishop of Lincoln made at the King's command, and to examine the day and year of the delivery of the temporalities made to the current bishop of Durham, and if they find that the church was occupied during the vacancy of the bishopric and given up since the delivery of the said temporalities, notwithstanding the King's presentment of the same church to Breton, that justice be done to the petitioner.
