Nature of request
Tunstall, who is in the prison of Lancashire, requests that he be released on bail until justices come to the area. He had the King's charter of pardon of all trespasses done against the peace by his service in Scotland up to the date of the charter, but was indicted before Manley and his associates of receiving 12 men arrested for larceny since the date of his charter for which he was imprisoned. He has not been arrested for anything else since the date of the charter.
Nature of endorsement
A writ of Chancery should be sent to the sheriff of Lancashire ordering that if it is as suggested in the petition he should receive bail from the petitioner and deliver him to the said prison until the arrival in those parts of the justices who enquire concerning felonies etc.
