Le fiz Warin requests that the King remember the plea made before him at Shrewsbury concerning his man who was killed in his land of Bausley by John the parson and his band, at the command of the bishop of St Asaph. And he took the prior of Alberbury, his brother, his chaplain and his deacon on the Friday before the Decollation of St John in the present year, beat and wounded them and bound and brought them 24 miles into Wales, where he imprisoned them with irons on their feet and hands and shaved the chaplain and deacon. And they have also taken a person in the bishopric of Hereford and removed him from the bishopric.
