Chofyn requests pardon for the death of Owar, her husband, who she killed with a knife in self-defence when he was beating her. She then left the isle for Normandy.1)

It is unworthy to grant grace in this case.2) This felony was shown to have been done [...] and outside the protection of the king. The king agrees that the bailiff should certify him of the matter at the parliament to be held at Michaelmas next.
