Hanney requests remedy because members of the craft of goldsmiths, including Botisham, Fraunceys, Lincoln, Fraunceys, Bamme, Walden, Carbonel, Tyngewyk, Forster, Hay, Exton and Brown, made him swear that he would not sell anything pertaining to their craft to any mercer, cutler or jeweller or to anyone else except at treble its value, and made him seal an obligation of £10 to Tyngewyk and Lincoln in case he infringed upon these orders.
