Nature of request
Beatrice, widow of Gilbert Lord Talbot, who was peaceably seised of her late husband's manors and lordships in Shropshire until William Talbot, on the Tuesday after the feast of Corpus Christi last, forcefully entered her manors and lordships, and on the following Wednesday her tenants' services were transferred to John, Lord Talbot, who took by force many of her goods and chattels in the same manors and lordships, requests that whereas she married her husband by the ordinance of Henry V, that the King and lords of Parliament grant power and authority to certain lords to hear, judge and enquire into her right and possession in the premises and that she may be restored to the same with the issues and revenues from the said Tuesday until the day of her restoration to the lands, and requests restoration of her goods and chattels.
