The men of Northumberland living near the march of England request remedy against men of Northumberland who were angry at their neighbour, lay in wait for him and followed him beyond the march of England into Scotland in the town of Berwick and killed him, and came back as felons over the bridge and had their lands, tenements and chattels as they did before.
Nature of endorsement
The bishop of Norwich and Vescy were ordered to examine and enquire into the case.
