- Le Pestour requests remedy for the distresses and prises made by John and Philip, the abbot of Westminster's bailiffs, who have forced him to pay money he did not owe and made distresses in his house until he paid them, for brewing against the assize and various other amercements, and by the same bailiffs and Foyle for taking bread and ale without tally and taking a brass pot and pan from his bakery.1)
