[Petition in 2 parts:]1) Saya requests that the king confirm letters of the Earl of Kent granting him land in compensation for his own lands occupied by the French, and give him possession, until he can recover his own lands.2) He states that although he is from Bordeaux and lives there, contributing to the expenses and costs of the city as a burgess, the burgesses of Bordeaux refuse to receive him as a burgess because he is the son of a knight, and the sheriff and constables do not allow him to pay customs on his wine as the other burgesses do. He asks that they might be ordered to receive him as a burgess and to allow him to pay customs on his wine.1)
