Bacon requests confirmation of his fair and market at Loddon, which he has by charter of Henry III, and also view of Frankpledge of Loddon, Chedgrave and his receipts for Hardley, and this for his service in the wars of Flanders and Scotland.
Nature of endorsement
The treasurer wished Thomas to come to the Exchequer at London with his charters and this bill and that he would have . . . there what was . . . at Lanercost. Afterwards the same treasurer ordered Thomas, coming to London to the Exchequer, to go to Carlisle . . . to the next parliament. And then at Carlisle it was answered that concerning view of Frankpledge he should have a writ of Chancery of ad quod damnum.

From the response it is clear that part of the request was finally settled at the parliament held at Carlisle in January 1307, so that it would seem that the petition must date to 1306.
