Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to c. 1283 as Luke de Tany was dead by that year having been granted the office of justice of the forest in 1281 (CFR 1272-1307, pp.150, 193). The petitioner refers to herself holding the close for several years by Tany's grant so that it seems likely that the petition may date two or three years after the death of Tany.
