Nature of request
Sauvage states that he holds Milstead and Murston from the king as a knight's fee and Apuldrefeud held Murston in dower of him. This has been seized by the escheator, and he had a writ to the escheator to hold an inquisition: which has been held and returned in Chancery. He requests that right and grace is done him according to the inquisition, and that if the King has the right to the wardship, then he requests the King's grace, as her son will be of age at Pentecost, and the land is only worth £20. And if the King does give him his grace, he requests a writ to the escheator for the issues.
