Nature of request
Norman requests remedy concerning the trespass and false imprisonment that he has suffered because a certain man of the town in anger towards him presented him in the view of frankpledge of the prior that he holds in Dunstable claiming that he found £20 on the highroad between London and Barnet, and the prior had him imprisoned for a long time on this so that though finally acquitted he is ruined.1)
Nature of endorsement
He should sue a writ in Chancery for the king and himself ad Easter in 15 days.2) He should have a writ of imprisonment.
