[Petition in 3 part:]1) Bretayne requests that when the inquisition held at the suggestion of Milkesham is returned before him concerning the wapentake of Claro and the honour of Richmond that he is called to show reason against the allegations.2) Bretayne requests that his steward can be heard in a plea against the abbot of York, namely a plea that the abbot has against Cleseby concerning a distraint that the abbot demands.3) He requests that the king will hear . . . for the commonalty of his people1)
