[Petition in 3 parts:]1) The abbot and convent request that the king maintain their estate and say his will on what has been done against their franchise, as their franchise has excluded the king and his ministers until the vacation.2) They were granted a mint at Bury St Edmunds and used this franchise until the vacation and request that they king grant their estate.3) They request that the king grant their estate and confirm the division of the abbey estates between abbot and convent so that in times of vacation only the abbot's portion is seized into the king's hand as this held until the last vacation.
