- [Damaged and faded] The syndic of Condom makes four requests:1) [This is largely illegible, but appears to concern a fair].2) [Largely illegible] He states that the lord of Monte Caprello has usurped to himself jurisdiction over several parishes adjacent to Condom. [He asks that this might be returned to its previous state.]3) He states that certain servants of the king were killed in the course of their duties, and that the killers returned to the castle of Moncrabeau, and are still harboured there.4) He states that the lord of Moncrabeau and his men carry off animals, crops and goods belonging to the people of Condom, and lie in wait to rob and kill on public roads, and capture people and hold them prisoner. He requests justice and a remedy.

- [On face, to first] The seneschal of the Agenais is to be ordered to inform himself on the contents etc., and to do further what seems to him is to be done for the king's estate.[To second] The seneschal of Gascony is to be ordered to inform himself, with the king's council there, of the contents of the petition, as he is to ordained as seems appropriate to him for the defence of the king's right in this matter.[To third] The seneschal of Gascony is to be ordered to inquire diligently into the contents of the petition and to do full justice as it seems to him it should be done according to the laws etc.[To fourth] The seneschal of Gascony is to be ordered as immediately above.[None on dorse]
