[Petition in 7 parts:]1) Calculi requests that the king will confirm to Gauch that he be servant to the seneschalcy of Gascony for his life.2) Calculi requests that the king will make and confirm letters of the late seneschal granting him the office of notary of Aquitaine for Prato in accordance with the transcript of letters of Havering.3) Calculi requests that it be granted that he can use the privileges and liberties as other burgesses of Bordeaux use.4) He requests that it would be good and to the king's profit if all the lands lying uncultivated in the seneschalcy of Saintonge be granted to someone to bring them back into cultivation as no-one in the seneschalcy wishes to do it.5) [Fragmentary entry] He requests that the custody of the castle of Montisandronis be repealed and the wages no longer paid as it was granted to Rymonis and he has allowed it to go to ruin and has not built any buildings there.6) - 7) [Struck through and vacated].

[On face:]1) The king has granted this as long as he behaves well.2) The king has granted this as above.3) Coram rege. The king has granted this certain grace to the petitioner so that he can stand in the king's service.4) This bill should be sent to the seneschal of Gascony, and let him be ordered to make a sufficient commission to the seneschal of Saintonge and to Master Emerick de Senfist and to Master Foucher de Peron or to two of them.5) Coram rege [struck-through]; Let it be ordered to the seneschal of Gascony that he inform himself of the points and if he finds him good them he should remain, and if otherwise he should remove him.6) - 7) Vacated.
