[Petition in 7 parts:]1) The duke requests that the king remove his hand from land in Leadenham which pertains to the wardship of Roger de Coleville and deliver it to the duke, as the wardship pertains to him.2) He requests the king's grace to put an attorney in his place in the county of Richmond.3) He requests that malefactors that came to the fair of Boston and robbed merchants there be taken to a place to receive justice.4) He requests that the king's people do not disturb his people for the scutage for the three Welsh wars as the king has acquitted them at another time.5) He requests that the wapentakes of Lincolnshire should be given to him for a certain sum of money, and not because of the profit that he will have but so that his lands and people will be better held and kept.6) Remembrance of fees and 'arrerefiez' of England that the subjects give to hold from the duke . . .many damages that come to the king and duke and to all high men of the land, and in wardships, and . . ., jurisdiction and in forfeitures and in other things.7) Remembrance that the duke not be impleaded of four things of novel disseisin, dower of women, etc.
