[Petition in 7 parts:]Petition for remedy concerning the business of the lands of Gascony, Scotland and elsewhere.1) Request that people are assigned to assess the perils and other reasons that Pieres did not dare to receive the charge of office of proctor of the king.2) Request for the survey of the defences used by the king's grandfather against the perils.3) Request to survey why the defences were delayed by which the king lost possession of Scotland and of many lands in Gascony, Agenais and Saintonge.4) To survey the articles of peace and agreement made between the king's ancestors and those of France.5) To survey the articles of peace and agreement made against the king's father by the necessity that cause him to make a grant to Bruce, the deceit of the enemy causing him to lose most of Scotland.6) Request to certify the perils, reasons and articles for remedy that are necessary before response is made to the pope and king of France.7) To survey the reasons why Joneston is not able to attend to the suit and process until the coming of Pieres.
