The citizens of Saintes request that they can have the same liberty concerning the sale of wine as the towns of La Rochelle and other towns in the area have, as currently it is to the king's and their great damage that they receive no profit from the sale of wine.

Let the seneschal of Gascony be ordered to inform himself upon this, and send the information to this country.
