For the king and the commonalty of merchants and mariners of the realm.Byndon requests the appointment of commissioners concerning the damages done on the part of those of England and those of France so that his ship can be released from arrest.

[Appears to be a continuation of the petition, though much is barely legible:]Many of the commonalty fear that the king of France will take to his court cognizance and judgement of all the prises and arrests . . . as his four predecessors have done in similar cases . . . to the damage of the king, his father and his subjects of £400 . . . for the default.
